Volunteer
Volunteers are one of our most needed resources.
Parents, grandparents, and community members who give their time could
assist in the library or help with PTO events, such as Fall Festival,
Science Night, Staff Holiday Luncheon, Physical Fitness Day & 5K and
many more.
Attention parents: We have some teachers who still do not have a PTO
Homeroom Coordinator. This is a new great opportunity to become involved
with your child’s school. PTO Homeroom Coordinators will be the main link
between the teacher and the PTO officers. We are looking for people who are able
to commit to various duties throughout the year. The following are examples of what
PTO Homeroom Coordinators may do for us.
*Attend PTO meetings or visit website or contact PTO President by phone on a monthly basis
*Cover classroom when needed for approximately 1 1/2 hour
ex.-Relieve teacher for teacher appreciation luncheon
*Help distribute materials to classroom
*Help bake/send in food items approximately 4 times per year
*Take photos of classroom for the yearbook
*Birthday’s - Find out when your teachers birthday is
- Create a card on the computer from the PTO & place in her mailbox
*Create/hang posters for the PTO
*Help with Family Activity Nights
- such as movie night and BINGO
*Speak to teacher about any way you can help them personally throughout the year.
